I am currently finishing up my last semester at UMBC with an undergraduate degree in Graphic Design. This semester I am apart of an internship called "Mapping the Community", in which UMBC is participating with local elemetary and high schools in helping students create and design maps of their community or surrounding areas. I will be mentoring a 3rd grade class for aproximately eight weeks, one day per week.

As far as what memories I have of the VC program...The main thing that I have retained is the wonderful attention I received from all of my professors with helping me to develop my skills and to achieve acceptance into a four year college. I always felt that there was a bond of friendship between myself and my professors that made my learning experiences all the more enjoyable.
